An old white light switch in a hallway

Every job starts with a short video call. It's free, and you don't need to know which products you want. We'd rather hear what you'd like your home to do, and work out the equipment from there.

What we'll ask about

  • Which rooms you have in mind, or whether it's the whole home.
  • What you'd like to change: lighting, heating, music, the front door, or something else.
  • What you already have, such as speakers, a smart thermostat, a doorbell or Wi-Fi equipment.
  • Whether you use an iPhone or Android phone, and whether you already use Apple Home or Alexa.

Useful to have to hand

You don't have to prepare anything, and you never need to scan a room. If it's easy, it helps to show us a few things on camera, or send photos afterwards:

  • A light switch you'd like to replace, with its plate in view.
  • Your boiler and the heating controls on the wall.
  • Your front door and the area around it, if you're interested in a doorbell or lock.
  • Where your broadband router sits.

Photos of switches and the boiler tell us a lot about what will fit, and save time later.

After the call

We recommend the equipment, work out what the installation needs and send you a fixed quote before any work begins. Some homes need a visit first, for example when the wiring behind the switches is unclear or the heating system is unusual. If so, we'll say why and arrange one.

Once you're happy with the quote, we book the installation. We install and configure everything, show you how it works and support you for the first year.

Not sure where to start?

Tell us what you'd like your home to do. We'll recommend the right setup.
